You did see some gators! Lots of 'em in Florida. Great minds run in the same ruts, I guess, 'cause I posted a gator photo today also!
I think I mentioned Shark Valley to you once before; it's a national park located about 20 miles west of Miami on Highway 41 and has a 15 mile loop that runs out into the Everglades and back. Lots of gators. One day Lois and I rode our bike on the loop and counted 150 gators - some of them were in the middle of the road sunning themselves! We went around them fast!
Do you know what they call you if you fall out of a boat in the Everglades? Gator bait!
